October 2024 was a landmark month for SSS Studios, capturing moments with some of the industry’s finest and connecting with people from across the world.
The month began at Drumsheds, the old IKEA warehouse turned iconic rave venue. Headlined by Hybrid Minds, the organisers put on a standout event to mark the 10-year anniversary of 'Worried About Henry'. SSS Studios had the pleasure of collaborating with Catching Cairo, joining her on stage as she performed in front of a hometown audience in North London.
Following Drumsheds, Catching Cairo continued her journey, joining Becky Hill on her UK tour, with performances at iconic venues such as OVO Arena Wembley and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham. It was an intense two weeks for both artists, delivering ten shows in fourteen days across the country. A standout moment captured can be seen in photo [4], where Cairo performed her infamous track “Touch” to a sold out crowd at Wembley.
From music to fashion, October also saw the arrival of Miami based brand YIFNO in London for their first international venture. Teaming up with record label FLAT22, they hosted a football kit pop-up, unveiling two jerseys: a black-and-grey home kit and a white-and-blue 'away' shirt with bold gold accents. Featuring a global lineup of artists, the event was a success and cemented their first Miami footprint across the pond.
Finally, the month closed out with the release of our seventh Spotify artwork, created by Lydia Riade for her new single TRIED. Moving between moments of questioning and acceptance, the song explores the universal experience of loving someone who doesn’t love you back. The single is now streaming on all platforms.
A special thank you to @lottiemitchell for her work on the graphic design of this first issue of ‘This Month at SSS.’
